Sexuality and Faith

Here's an interesting article on therapy, homosexuality, culture, and its effect on a person's psyche. It's fascinating, because once again, it seems like the problem isn't REALLY whether a person is gay, straight, or bi, but whether or not their society / family / religion accepts them.

Frankly, that's one of the reason's I'm grateful to be a bisexual pagan. At least the majority of pagans, because they're outsiders themselves, tend to be more accepting of who an individual has chosen to be.

So I wonder: what are the pros and cons for Monogomy? If our culture was more accepting of different expressions of Diety, would we be more accepting of people who's sexuality is outside the norms? Or would people's sexuality be more inside the norms, if they were able to express their sexuality in a safe, mutually fulfilling way, where they didn't feel evil or dirty because of it?

Where do you stand?
